Banksy’s opening credits for The Simpsons — my favouritest show on earth. It’s never too late to reblog something as darkly humourous as this. Now we know why DVDs have holes.

And if you want to read more, check out this interview with The Simpsons producer Al Jean on how they went about approaching the pseudonymous graffiti artist.

This is Ikea’s Musical Shelves banner. It’s super awesome. When you click on the banner, it prompts you to upload a song. Do what it says and it’ll reward you for it. Go on. Try it.

Young Me, Now Me

I came across ze frank’s wonderful Young Me Now Me project a while ago, but had almost forgotten about it until recently. It’s still awesome. The notion of time, our memories and how the latter is inextricably linked to who we are have always been matters close to my heart.

Seeing the longer, more weathered faces of the “now” people is a somewhat bittersweet experience. You start to think about their lives: what they’ve learnt, what they wish they could undo, what lessons they would like to tell their younger self.

Every day, we age a little. Our parents age more. The fact that I cannot slow down time or go back to the past occasionally leaves me with a heavy heart. I know—you live and learn, and try not to repeat the same mistakes. You embrace the now and make the most out of it. You forgive yourself for being only human. Because however much we try to escape the thought, all of us will die sometime, so we might as well die trying.

Still, I wonder, would the young me recognise the now me?
